27-year-old man arrested after drug seizure in Newry

In a planned search of a house today a quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of £10,000.

OFFICERS FROM a tactical crime unit in Newry have arrested a 27-year-old man following the seizure of drugs and a number of other items.

The man was arrested today on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.

His arrest followed a planned search of a house in the Cloughan Court area of Newry today where a quantity of Class B drugs with an estimated street value of £10,000 and a number of other items were recovered.
