FOR GENERATIONS PAST, using talc-based products like Johnson’s Baby Powder was a staple within some parents nappy changing regimes. However, in the last two years, Johnson & Johnson has been subject to two high-profile court rulings for an apparent link to ovarian cancer.

In one of the cases which completed this week, Johnson & Johnson were ordered to pay a terminal cancer patient €354 million after she used talc-based products, once popular for use on babies.

But what other products might we be using right now on our kids that could turn out to be detrimental to their health?

The 2013 documentary The Human Experiment (produced by Sean Penn) highlighted a report by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics that found that 61% of children’s bath products contain formaldehyde and 1,4-dioxane, linked to cancer and skin allergies.

So, tell us, do you worry about the bath products you use on your kids?

Poll Results:

Yes, I try to avoid certain ingredients. (89)
No, it'll be fine. (25)
Yes, but it doesn't affect what I buy. (23)
