Woman's body found at house in Meath

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after the body of a woman in her 50s was found.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after a woman’s body was found in a house in County Meath.

The woman, in her 50s, was found at around 5pm at a house in Edgeworth Court in Longwood.

Gardaí also confirmed that a man in his 30s has been taken to Mullingar Regional Hospital with injuries. The extent of his injuries are not yet known.

The Garda Technical Bureau is due to examine the scene and the Office of the Chief State Pathologist has been notified.
