SOME 50,000 PEOPLE turned out to watch the first day of the Bray Air Display, according to the event’s organisers.

Other international acts included the Patrouille Tranchant, a Celtic jet team from Brittany, and the Ravens from the UK.
The Irish Air Corps and the Irish Historic Flight Foundation also took to the sky.
Huge crowds are expected attend tomorrow too, with the Red Arrows headlining the event for the first time in its 11-year history.
