Woman threatened in her home by men brandishing knives

This happened in Coleraine at around 5.30pm yesterday evening.

A WOMAN IN Northern Ireland has endured an ordeal after two men broke into her home.

This happened shortly after 5.30pm yesterday afternoon when the men, thought to be aged in their twenties, entered the house.

Confronting the woman, they demanded money and threatened the woman with a knife.

After getting their hands on a small sum of cash, the pair fled the scene.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The two men are described as being between 5′ 6” and 5′ 10” in height and of a slim build.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the incident, with a particular interest in contacting the owner of a white coloured car that was parked in the area at the time.

Anyone with any information can pass it on by contacting Crimestoppers in the North on 0800 555 111.
