Driver 'critical' and several others injured after bus crashes into building

Forty people were on board the bus in New York.

SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE been injured after a bus crashed into a building in Queens, New York.

NBC New York quotes a senior official as saying at least six people have been injured.

It notes that the 39-year-old driver is in a critical condition.

A Resorts World Casino bus crashed into a building on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park at around 2pm local time (7pm GMT).

An “extensive” emergency services presence is at the scene, where are large amount of debris is visible.

RT is reporting that 40 passengers were on board. The cause of the incident is not yet known.
