TWO MEN are due in court later today in connection with the seizure of cannabis plants worth an estimated €700,000 in Co Cavan yesterday.
The two are due to appear before Ballyconnell District Court at 10:30am in connection with yesterday’s seizure, at a house in Virginia, Co Cavan.
The two men, both of whom are in their 20s, were arrested yesterday morning after a planned operation which led to the discovery of an “extensive” cannabis cultivation operation in the warehouse.
The plants had an estimated street value of between €640,000 and €700,000.
