BB-8 droid attacks David McCullagh in Prime Time studio

Don’t worry, there were no Star Wars spoilers on Prime Time.

YOU CAN’T ESCAPE from mentions of Star Wars this week and it even managed to creep onto RTÉ’s Prime Time set this evening.

Presenter Miriam O’Callaghan tweeted this evening, telling followers people do not realise how dangerous the studio was earlier.

Her video shows the BB-8 droid from Star Wars speeding out towards David McCullagh while he was waiting to go on air and blasting him.

David, ever the professional, managed to shake it off and continue with the show when they went live.
