GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the death of a man found yesterday with head injuries in a laneaway in Athy, Co. Kildare.
The 56-year-old local man was discovered lying in the walkway between St John’s lane and the Greenhills housing estate after Gardaí received a telephone call reporting the body.
RTÉ reports that the man has been named locally as Larry Keane, who had links to dissident republicanism.
