WHETHER YOU’VE HIT your limit on apartment living and are the hunt for a home that doesn’t share walls with neighbours, or simply want to head out to the country for a little extra fresh air, detached homes can definitely be appealing.
While finding a detached home in urban areas or even in many city suburbs is near impossible, when you head out of the nation’s capital, you can often find very affordable detached homes that are well-kept and offer room for a crowd.

Irishtown, Co Mayo – €295,000
In Irishtown, Co Mayo, you’ll find a five bedroom, four bathroom detached home on just under an acre of land.
