Poll: Do you think the media intrudes too much on the lives of celebrities?

Hollywood actress Charlize Theron says the intrusion on her life by the press is comparable to ‘rape’.

SOUTH AFRICAN-BORN ACTRESS Charize Theron has hit out at the press coverage of celebrities, saying that the invasion of her private life is so intrusive that it is comparable to rape.

She told Sky News that “every aspect” of her life has become “fodder” for a brand of journalism that exists “in a dark room”.

“When you start living in that world, and doing that, you start feeling raped.”

In light of the Hollywood actress’s statement, we want to know what you think.
