LOOKING FOR A top-notch family car that is spacious, practical, economical, good to drive and well specced? Then this 2016 Hyundai i40, for €22,950, may be the car for you.

The Hyundai i40 is a stylish five-door saloon and it is great for families as it is quite roomy inside. There is plenty of leg and head room both up front and in the back, and the boot can hold 525 litres of cargo.

Driving the i40, it feels balanced, and light with suspension on the softer side. On long motorway drives it feels nice and comfortable.

The Hyundai i20 is practical and spacious five-door hatchback and is a great car if you do a lot of city driving due to how easy it is to manoeuvre.

This car is well built, looks stylish and has a really large boot capacity for this segment – 326 litres with the seats up and 1,024 litres with the rear seats tumbled.

Features of this car include Bluetooth, iPod connection, USB electric front windows, split fold rear seats, child locks, ABS, ISOFIX points, and an immobiliser.

So, if you want a large spacious family car that is great for motorway cruising then the Hyundai i40 should be on your consideration list.

If you need something smaller, that is still practical and spacious but better suited to more urban driving then the i20 may be the car for you.
