Take a look inside this €2.95 million historic castle with seven bedrooms in Clonskeagh
The castle, on Dublin’s south side, has an overall floor area of 620 m² and dates back to 1789.
AT FIRST GLANCE, it would be easy to assume that this 18th century castle is nestled in the rolling countryside, miles from the nearest village. But Clonskeagh Castle, or 80 Whitebeam Road, sits just minutes from Dublin City centre.
This historic castle was built by Henry Jackson in 1789. An iron founder and a member of the United Irishmen, he bought 41 acres and carefully positioned the build on the southwest corner of the site.
