Including a lifelike design in Temple Bar.

IN TODAY’S BUSY world, many of us are guilty of rushing from A to B with our heads in our phones, only stopping for a quick glance when it comes to crossing the road.

But if we looked up, our attention would be grabbed by the creative street art designs dotted around Dublin that are popping up each month.

From a well-loved Irish phrase on Aungier Street to a thought-provoking design in Temple Bar, we’ve rounded up nine pieces of street art around Dublin city that are worth looking up from your phone for…

1. Take a stroll to Siopaella in Temple Bar to see Tien Le‘s lifelike creation.

2. Just around the corner from Whelan’s on Wexford Street is this relaxed sloth by Dan Leo.

3.  On Burgess Lane in Smithfield is this mesmerising design.

4.  This impressive creation by Juliette Viodé surrounds the playground at Avondale House flats on North Cumberland Street.

5. Not far from DIT Aungier Street, you’ll find this Gaeilge-inspired design.

6.  It’s hard to miss this vulture by Subset on George’s Quay.

7. Another design by Subset, a reminder we all need from time to time is on Fleet Street.

8.  A poignant piece on Curve Street, Temple Bar.

9. Hitch a ride to Stirrup Lane, Smithfield to see this well-suited mural.
