IF YOU’RE AN outdoorsy type who also loves the finer things in life, Piercetown House is certainly worth a look.
As well as beautiful surrounds and a vast 950sq m/10,220 sq ft of space, the property boasts a paddock area, stable yard and nine horse stalls. Despite its rural surrounds though, the seven-bedroom home is just 35 minutes’ drive from Dublin city via the M3.
Piercetown House was finished in 1981, and sits on four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Inside, there are four main reception rooms, each of generous size and tastefully decorated in a period style.
Entertainment spaces abound here, from a gym area to a large heated swimming pool. The property also has a games room that features a snooker table, and the pool area itself houses two saunas – just in case one wasn’t enough.
Perhaps the most striking aspect of the property is the large balcony on the upper floor, though its bedrooms are impressive, too. All seven have fitted wardrobes and are stylishly designed, and two have en-suite bathrooms.
The new owners of Piercetown House will also take ownership of separate mews accommodation, featuring a living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom area.
Everything on-site is kept secure by remote controlled electric gates and CCTV, too.
Piercetown House, Fairyhouse Road, Dunboyne, Co Meath is on sale for €1,250,000 from Wyse Estate Agents via Daft.ie.
