Man to appear in court over 2012 double murder

The bodies of Anthony Burnett and Joseph Redmond were discovered in a burnt-out car.

A MAN IN his 30s is due to appear at Dundalk District Court at 10.30am today in connection with a double murder in Louth in 2012.

The bodies of Anthony Burnett and Joseph Redmond, Dublin gangland figures, were discovered in a burnt-out car at Ravensdale Park in Dundalk on 7 March 2012.

Last month an Irish man was arrested in Alicante as part of the investigation.
