The weather for the Easter weekend will be 'cold, breezy, mild and dry'

Great.

THIS WEEKEND’S FINE weather will be seen again next weekend, but only after cold, windy and wet days.

Met Éireann says that today will be bright in places but with patchy rain in west Ulster and north Connacht.

Afternoon highs will range from 8 or 9 degrees in the northwest in a freshening northwest breeze to 14 or 15 degrees the south and southeast.

Tonight will be cold but dry.

That weather will shift during the week as temperatures stay around the low teens with wind and rain settling in.

Towards Easter weekend, the weather service says:

“Staying rather cold on Friday and Saturday and breezy on Friday with sunny breaks and scattered showers. Latest indications show milder and mostly dry conditions later in the weekend.”

So it will be cold, wet, warm and cold. Perfect.
