GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses in connection with an alleged sexual assault in the Harold’s Cross area of Dublin.

The alleged incident happened on Mount Argus Road, Harold’s Cross, between 5am and 5.30am on Sunday 20 May.

The victim and suspect met near a bookmakers on Grafton Street, according to gardaí.

They walked together on the left-hand side of the road onto Dame Street, continuing on to Christchurch and onto Clanbrassil Street towards the canal over Harold’s Cross Bridge.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen a man and a woman standing near a car on Mount Argus Road to come forward. They are particularly interested in a couple who spoke with the victim and suspect in this area.

Gardaí have released a Evofit image of the suspect, who is described as 6′ in height, with broad shoulders, black hair and a beard.
