Cad a cheapann múinteoirí faoi oiliúint faoi chúrsaí Gaeltachta?

Labhair muid le dream ó Choláiste Mhuire Gan Smál a bhí i mbun cúrsa coicíse oiliúna i gCorcha Dhuibhne chun feabhais a chur ar a gcuid Gaeilge.

SEOLTAR DAOINE ÓGA go gcúrsaí samhraí Gaeltachta, ach an raibh a fhíos agat go mbíonn daoine fásta agus múinteoirí bunscoile faoi oiliúint ag tabhairt faoi chúrsaí Gaeilge sa Ghaeltacht?

Chaith The Journal cúpla lá i mBaile an Fheirtéaraigh i mí Bhealtaine ag fiosrú an scéil maidir le todhchaí na gcoláistí Samhraí.

Nuair a bhí muid ann, labhair muid le dream ó Choláiste Mhuire Gan Smál a bhí i mbun cúrsa coicíse oiliúna chun feabhais a chur ar a gcuid Gaeilge.

Roinn siad a gcuid tuairimí maidir le cúrsaí Gaeltachta agus an tábhacht a bhaineann le tumoideachas.

TEENAGERS GOING TO the Gaeltacht is a ritual as old as time itself, but did you know that adults and primary school teachers in training also attend Irish language courses in the Gaeltacht?

The Journal spent a few days in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh in recent weeks.

While there, we spoke to a group from Mary Immaculate College who were undertaking a two-week training course to improve their Irish.

They shared their views on Gaeltacht courses and the importance of immersion education.
