Gardaí circulate appeal over murder of family in Northampton, England

UK police continue to search for information regarding the whereabouts of the man they suspect of being involved in the deaths of four people, including two teenagers.

GARDAÍ HAVE DISTRIBUTED an appeal for information on behalf of police in Northampton, England, who are investigating the murder of four members of the same family.

Police found the bodies of university lecturer Jifeng Deng, 47, his wife Helen Chui, 47, and their two daughters aged 12 and 18 at their home in Wootton, Northampton on 1 May.

Investigators are searching for businessman Anxiang Du, 52, who is from the West Midlands area of England, in connection with the deaths. Du had business dealings with the family and had reportedly lost money in a court ruling made in favour of two of the victims.

Du, photographed above, was seen arriving at Venables Street in London at about 2.30am on 30 April. Anyone who sees him is advised not to approach him, but to instead contact police immediately.

Crimestoppers can be contacted on +44 207 158 0126 from 8am til midnight and on +44 3000 111 222 between midnight and 8am.
