A MAN IS due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the death of Gerard Delaney in December 2011.
The 51-year-old Delaney, a father-of-two, was found with multiple stab wounds and head injuries at the Manhattan Bar in Ballyphehane, Cork following a row between two families in the early hours of 27 December 2011.
The incident took place at the Manhattan pub on Lower Friars Walk. Originally from Mahon in Co Cork, Delaney died of a combination of head trauma and stab wounds.
The man, in his early 20s, is due before Cork City District Court later this morning following his arrest in Togher early this morning.
