High winds cause truck to overturn in Co Laois

HIGH WINDS CAUSED this truck to overturn just outside Abbeyleix in Co. Laois at around 12.25 pm today.

Gardaí in Abbeyleix told TheJournal.ie that the trailer of the truck was empty, which meant it was lighter and so could be knocked over easier by the winds.

Gardaí said that no one was hurt in the incident and they are currently attending the scene.
