A MAN IN his early 40s has died following a house fire in Co Meath.
The fire happened at a house in Archdeaconry Glebe, Kells, and was reported to emergency services at around 8.15am.
Two men and one woman, all aged in their 40s, were taken from the scene to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan.
One of the men was subsequently pronounced dead. The two other people remain in hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The house has been sealed off and a technical examination will be carried out. Enquiries into how the fire started are ongoing.
