22-year-old Irishman killed in Australian road crash

Police in Adelaide said the man died after a crash in which his car rolled.

A 22-YEAR-OLD Irishman has been killed in a road traffic collision in Adelaide, Australia.

Alan Durkan, from Louisburgh, Co Mayo, died on Saturday evening after being injured in a car crash.

In a statement, South Australia Police said a 22-year-old man from Ireland, staying in Prahran Victoria, “died after his car rolled” at Coonwarra.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the incident and is offering consular assistance to the man’s family.
