Gardaí confirm body found in woods was that of missing Linda Evans

Linda was reported missing on 24 June from Connolly Hospital.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE unidentified body of a woman found in Blanchardstown earlier this week have confirmed it is the body of Linda Evans, also known as Linda Christian.

Linda was reported missing on 24 June from Connolly Hospital. Her body was discovered in undergrowth in Coolmine Woods nearby on Monday.

Gardaí are appealing to any member of the public who may have seen Linda, in particular any motorists, including motorcyclists and cyclists who have dash cams or other mobile recording devices.

They are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of the Snugborough Road, Coolmine Industrial Estate, Clonsilla Road and Main Street, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 between 9am and 2pm on Saturday 24 June to make contact with Blanchardstown Garda station on 01-6667000.
