Two charged after teenage boy dies at London rave

Daniel Spargo-Mabbs died after reportedly taking ecstasy at a rave in west London.

TWO MEN HAVE been charged in connection with the death of Daniel Spargo-Mabbs, a London teen who died of a suspected drugs overdose on Monday.

Nicqueel Pitora, 18, and Ryan Kirk, 20, were both charged with supplying class A drugs and are due to appear in court later today.

A third man, 19, has been bailed until a date in late March, pending further investigations.

Sparg-Mabbs was taken to hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning after being found unconscious at an illegally-held rave in Hayes, west London.

The 16-year-old passed away two days later.

Tributes have been paid to the A-level student with his head teacher calling him a “bright, articulate, talented” boy.

His parents have issued a warning to other teens. His father Tim told the BBC, “We want to say to any child tempted to take any illegal drugs, talk to us first.

“We’ll tell you about the machines, the hospital, the ventilator, the whole shebang. We don’t want this to happen to anyone else.”
