A MAN HAS been killed in a three-car crash in Louth.
The crash occurred on the M1 northbound between junctions 15 and 16 close to Castlebellingham at 10.30pm yesterday.
Three cars were involved in the crash and a man in his 40s was killed. He was the driver of one of the vehicles.
A woman in the second car, also in her 40s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the third car were also removed to hospital, but are not believed to be seriously hurt.
