A MAN HAS been charged over the discharge of a firearm in Crumlin in Dublin on Thursday night.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident at a property at Glebe House on St Agnes’ Road in Crumlin. No-one was injured when the firearm was discharged.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested in connection with the incident and detained at Crumlin Garda station under the Offences Against the State Act.
The 20-year-old man was charged last night and is due to appear before a sitting of the Dublin District Court at the Bridewell later this morning.
The other man was released without charge and a file is being prepared in connection with the case.
