Man shot several times in west Dublin

The man, aged in his 30s, was rushed to hospital after being shot on the street.

GARDAÍ IN BLANCHARDSTOWN are investigating a shooting incident in Parslickstown Green, Mulhuddart shortly after 8pm this evening.

A man believed to be in his 30s received a number of gunshot wounds to his body. He was treated at the scene by Dublin Fire Brigade and has been taken to James Connolly Hospital for further treatment.

His condition is unknown at this stage.

The shooting occurred on the street and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination. Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000.
