A MAN IS due to appear at Cork District Court today, charged with conspiracy to murder.
Gardaí in Gurranabraher arrested the man, who is in his late 30s, last week on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after a months-long investigation.
At the time of his arrest, there were a number of reports that the suspect was the son of a local, former politican in Cork.
