What’s so special about it?
The E-Class is low and wide giving it real presence and it looks very elegant and glamorous too. It is powered by an all-new four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, which is highly efficient and commendably quiet in operation.
But the best thing about the E-Class Coupe is not only does it look the business but it handles brilliantly too when pushed hard and out on twisty roads.
Any standout design features?
Whilst the exterior is styled to perfection the cabin is the star of the show and just blows most of its competition out of the water.
The fascia is an elegant sweep of leather and wood veneer and is dominated by twin digital widescreen displays backlit by LED stripes that make the infotainment system look like it is floating in front of the dashboard. The leather interior is butter-soft and the fit and finish is immaculate. It is one of the nicest cabins I’ve ever sat in.
And what powers this Mercedes-benz E-Class Coupe?
This is the 220d model and has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine under is beautiful bonnet. It is mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission and is rear-wheel drive.
The engine makes 194hp at 3,800RPM and 400Nm of torque at 1,600-2,800RPM. It can reach 100km/h from a standstill in just 7.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 242km/h.

Does the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe have any luxurious touches?
This particular car comes with upgraded RVQ alloy wheels, sat-nav, heated seats and a reversing camera with sensors.
Does safety equipment count as a luxurious touch? If so, this car has some high-tech Driver Assistance Systems including Active Brake Assist to aid the driver during emergency braking; Attention Assist, to alert the driver to inattentiveness or drowsiness; and pedestrian protection.
But who would drive this car?
Someone who loves a well-styled motor and likes to look good behind the wheel. This car is also good for those that really want a two-door sporty coupe but still need room for children and their belongings.
The E-Class Coupe has two seats in the back and the boot can hold up to 425 litres – enough for the school bags, a scooter and some shopping too.
