Gardaí renew appeal for missing 81-year-old Dublin man Thomas Kennedy

His family are particularly concerned for his well-being as he had health problems recently.

GARDAÍ ARE RENEWING their appeal for Thomas Kennedy.

The 81-year-old has been missing from Finglas since Tuesday July 29.

He was last seen in the Virginia Park area at approximately 9pm that night.

Kennedy’s family told TheJournal.ie that he had no plans to meet anyone that night, and it is entirely out of character for him not to return home.

They are particularly concerned for his well-being as he has had health problems recently.

Kennedy is described as:

  • 5ft 4” in height
  • of slim build
  • with short grey hair

He was wearing:

  • a black rain jacket with a hood
  • a short sleeved white and blue polo shirt
  • dark chino style trousers
  • black shoes with a Velcro fastener and no laces
  • he also wears glasses and a watch

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have seen Thomas to contact Finglas Garda Station on 01 6667500, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
