Boy (11) hit by truck a week ago dies from injuries in hospital

He was struck by the truck at Abbeylands South, Navan, last Sunday, 16 October.

AN 11-YEAR-OLD BOY has died from his injuries in hospital, a week after being struck by a truck on a road in Navan.

It happened at Abbeylands South, in the Co Meath town last Sunday, 16 October.

The boy was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital and later transferred to Temple Street Hospital, where he died yesterday afternoon.

The driver of the truck, a man in his mid 30s, was uninjured.
