#LEBANON: Israel repeatedly struck central Beirut today, with Lebanese authorities reporting a death toll of at least 12, while people in the ancient port city of Tyre fled their homes in panic after Israeli warnings.

#NORWAY: Prosecutors in Norway called for the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Marius Borg Høiby, to serve seven years and seven months in prison for offences including the alleged rape of four women.

#MENINGITIS: Five new cases of meningitis were reported in Kent, England.
