One year after #GE11: Join TheJournal.ie’s voter panel

We want to hear from people across the country: How do you feel about that historic election 12 months later?

ONE OF THE most momentous elections in modern Irish history took place a year ago next Friday – and we want to know how you feel about it now.

Many hoped that the election on February 25 2011 would herald a sea change in politics, and a new start for Ireland. Meanwhile, a significant number believed that the previous government’s experience and values made them still the best choice to lead the country.

Now, we’re looking for TheJournal.ie readers to tell us how you voted – and how you feel about your choice one year on. Are you pleased? Surprised? Disappointed? Do you feel that promises have been delivered on?

We’d like to hear from people in the following groups:

  • Fine Gael voter
  • Labour voter
  • Fianna Fáil voter
  • Sinn Féin voter
  • Independent voter
  • First-time voter
  • Anyone who abstained in protest

Email your name, contact number and voting constituency to michael@thejournal.ie if you are happy to be named and have your photograph used.

All shares of this post on Facebook, Twitter or by email are much appreciated. We look forward to hearing from you!
