A MAN WAS beaten by a gang armed with baseball bats at his north Belfast home in what police are calling a paramilitary-style attack.
One arrest has been made.
The incident took place on Forthriver Drive at around 10pm last night, when as many as seven men forced their way into a house.
The PSNI say the man (36) received a number of suspected fractures, although his injuries are not life-threatening.
A 33-year-old man was arrested in the Crumlin Road area around 2am.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
