PIC: The latest satellite image of cloud-covered Ireland

In good news, it looks like there’s a bright spot over Mayo…

MAJOR RAINFALLS are in store for the south and east of Ireland today and tonight, according to weather forecasters.

Up to a month’s rain could fall between today and tomorrow afternoon, with up to 50mm falling along the east coast and up to 35mm in the south.
