THE IMAGE ABOVE – from Met Éireann – could be enough to prompt you to enjoy a Bank Holiday lie-in this morning.
The image you see above is the Met Éireann rainfall radar from 8:15am this morning – showing rain across much of Ireland this Sunday morning, with only pockets of the country’s four corners managing to escape the rain.
In fact, in some patches – indicated in pink – there’s been rain of between 1.5 and 5 millimetres in the last hour.
So if you’ve got places to be (and there’s some suggestions here, if you’re that keen) it’s time to dig out the raincoats – but if you don’t, it might just be worth curling up in bed for those extra few minutes.
