Have you ever owned a PlayStation?

Sony has announced a massive change for physical media fans.

NEW PLAYSTATION GAMES released after January 2028 will no longer be sold in disc format, Sony has announced.

All new releases will instead be available digitally through the PlayStation store and other retailers – a move that has surprised many gaming enthusiasts.

The decision marks a major shift for the gaming giant, which launched the first PlayStation model in 1994. Gaming market researcher Daniel Ahmad also claims this has essentially confirmed that the PS6 “will be digital only”.

With a big change on the way for gamers, we wanted to ask: Have you ever owned a PlayStation?

Poll Results:

Yes – I currently have one (1197)
I used to own one, but not any more (804)
No – I've never wanted one (755)

No – but I wish I did (40)
