FOR THE PAST five days, hundreds of farmers, lorry drivers and bus drivers have been among protestors fighting against the price of fuel.
Slow-moving convoys and blockades have stopped fuel deliveries, meaning many filling stations are empty.
Meanwhile, emergency services such as ambulances have had to pare back operations, as they fear they may run out of fuel.
The obstructions on key roads have also meant commuters spent hours in traffic during the week, and prospective holidaymakers ended up walk to the airport, suitcases dragging behind them.
The protesters’ aims are clear: They want the carbon tax scrapped and a cap put on the price of fuel.
Today, we’re asking you: Do you think it’s time for the protesters to stand down?
