Poll: Are you planning to go to a festival next year?

Some music festivals have already announced their dates for next year.

WEST KERRY FESTIVAL Other Voices starts tomorrow for its twenty-second year.

The winter music festival will host names Winnie Ama, comedian Aisling Bea, singer Gemma Cox and Irish rap artist Nealo.

Popular festivals such as Electric Picnic in Laois and Longitude in Dublin have already announced their dates for 2024.

Electric Picnic will notably be earlier than usual this year, hosted in Stradbally in August 2024 instead of during the traditional first weekend in September.

With these dates already lined up, we want to know… Are you planning to go to a festival next year?

I for one am delighted to see identity politics being introduced to such a basic human activity as eating.

Using phrases like Imperialism, diversity, refugees, relationships, love letters to food erodes any faith I’d have in this cook book.

    More women in the kitchen?

@Niccolo Saccho: There’s a lot more to life. Some people (usually have an unhealthy relationship with food like this guy) can’t talk about anything else.

Tame a picture and show your friends that lamb chop with a twist.

The lastest food fad…nit wits using dishwasher and washing machine liquid tabs as pizza topping, and posting the pics on Instagram. I wonder what Ruby thinks of that food fad?

This Lady has obviously never been in a chip shop in Dublin (or anywhere) at 2am. Big messy kebabs don’t seem to discriminatory to either gender.

I wonder how much you could trust your appetite if you have an obsession to eating pizza or crisps. What about fizzy sugary drinks?? Toxic fats?? And foods laden with MSG or Aspertame. Both neuro-toxins which interfere with the chemical signalling loop from our stomach to our brain (which tells us we are now satisfied and that we are “full”) such that we are constantly hungry and want to eat even more. In a primitive organic environment of real natural foods, I would say it would be OK to trust your appetite. (Have you even seem an obese cheetah, girafffe or wildebeest?) However, the diets today and the food on offer are a far cry from when we ate natural adulterated food. The problem with this book is that it makes no distinction. Any advice to take care of what you are eating and how much, is very relevant today. No need to paint anyone doing this as obsessive or foolish. It’s just common sense. Unless you’re an ostrich……..

Fake Food, not Fast Food or Fad Food is toxic.
Trans Fats (Fake Food) now banned in US from 2018.
Ireland still counting trolleys. EU asleep.

Trans Fats root cause of diabetes type 2 and possibly diabetes type 3.
You can completely reverse your diabetes type 2 by banning Trans Fats .. unfortunately not so easy to do because Trans Fats are allowed to be added to natural food by most EU Governments.

Trans Fats prolong the shelf life of food … but shorten yours.
