Poll: Should the minimum wage be cut by €1?

Budget 2011 will see the minimum wage cut to €7.65 an hour. Have your say on whether this is a fair measure.

THE FINANCIAL EMERGENCY measures bill, which is going before the Dáil today, will see the minimum wage cut by €1 to €7.65 an hour.

By contrast, the minimum wage in Britain is £5.93 (€7.08) an hour, in France it’s €8.86 and hour, in the USA it’s $7.25  (€5.47), while in Germany and the Scandinavian countries there is no minimum wage.
