Poll: Should vending machines selling unhealthy foods and drinks be banned in schools?

An Oireachtas Committee has recommended just that.

AN OIREACHTAS COMMITTEE has recommended the introduction of an outright ban on vending machines that dispense unhealthy foods and drinks in schools.

The recommendation was made as part of a report that aims to tackle childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles.

As well as the ban on vending machines, the report also recommends that unhealthy foods and drinks should not be available in school canteens. But what do you think?
