THE RSA GROUP, which last week suspended three of its executives, has appointed auditors PWC to carry out an investigation into their claims and finance operations.
On Friday it was revealed that CEO Philip Smith, CFO Rory O’Connor and Claims Director Peter Burke had been suspended after a routine audit found problems in the departments.
RSA, which owns and operates 123.ie, said in a statement that the PWC investigation will be “comprehensive”.
The review will focus on the financial and regulatory reporting processes at the company, RSA says.
Simon Lee, Group Chief Executive of RSA said that, while serious, the issues did not have a “material impact on the group”.
“We are extremely disappointed with the issues which have been identified and their financial impact on the Group. While the investigation is ongoing, I am confident that these issues are isolated to the Irish business.
No policyholders have been affected and all our Irish businesses continue to operate as normal.
“Nevertheless, we want to ensure that the actions being taken in Ireland and across the Group are correct and that all lessons are learnt. ”

Taylor Swift is 26, and while undoubtedly trading in part on being glamorous and frank about her relationships, is hardly at the races when it comes to sexualisation. She seems like a pretty decent role model, if anything.
So signing to infants about flings and bedhopping is hip these days?
not to mention Pornstar Kardashian.
Like Cyrus,Lovato, she has her price.
They are all just products of establishment propaganda.
Rrrright, because pop music has *never* had any sexual content whatsoever, and kids singing along to pretty pop stars is a totally new thing. I think you need to review the last 60 or so years of popular culture if Swift is your problem.
Kardashian, Cyrus, absolutely, unhealthy levels of sleaze (no idea who Lovato is). But Swift can write and sing a decent tune, seems to have a firm grip on her own career, and I certainly wouldn’t mind my daughter turning out like her.
Johnny, I don’t think you know Swift’s market – when she was 16, she wrote songs for 16 year olds; when she was 18 she started to get into the serious stuff like her demographic; when she was 21 she started to write about getting the ride and what not, like her fanbase at that time.
And for all her qualities, you would never consider Swift to be “sexy” like Cyrus tries to be, or Levato and the mini Kardashians are paid to be.
The brainwashing seems to be working.
