Rain warning issued for four counties this evening

Clare, Galway, Kerry, and Mayo have all been issued with the warning.

LAST UPDATE | 2 Nov 2025

A STATUS YELLOW rain warning has been issued for four counties this evening.

Clare, Galway, Kerry, and Mayo have all been issued with the warning, which is to come into effect at 8pm and last until 8pm tomorrow evening.

Persistent rain, turning heavy at times, is forecast, and Met Éireann is warning of possible localised flooding, difficult travel conditions, and poor visibility.

Temperatures will remain low throughout the day.

Tonight, rain will affect all areas, Met Éireann said. It will be heavy at times and will become more showery in nature overnight.

It is expected to be mild with lowest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees with fresh to strong southwesterly winds.

Tomorrow, there will be further spells of rain, growing heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees are forecast.

Tomorrow night, rain will continue for a time, but will mostly clear overnight with showers following from the west. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees are expected.
