The RTÉ Choice Music Prize is taking place tonight – which album do you think should win?

Ten acts are in the running for Irish Album of the Year.

THE RTÉ CHOICE Music Prize takes place tonight at Vicar Street, marking the 21st year of the awards celebrating the best in Irish music.

The winning act will receive €10,000 and all shortlisted artists will also receive a specially commissioned award.

A panel of eleven Irish music media professionals and industry experts will decide the winners, with accolades such as Irish Album of the Year, Irish Artist of the Year and Irish Song of the Year up for grabs.

This year’s Album of the Year shortlist features a strong and varied lineup – including Amble, CMAT, Bricknasty and Sprints, among others. You can view the full list of nominees here.
