SEAT Arona

The all-new SEAT Arona crossover is now on sale in Ireland

Prices start from €17,995.

THE NEW ARONA  is the latest model to join SEAT’s expanding lineup. The compact crossover sits below the Ateca in terms of size and it the brand’s third new model release in 2017 following on from the updated Leon and all-new Ibiza.

Like most offerings in this crowded segment, the Arona is available in a variety of vibrant colours with some models available with contrasting roof colours.

In Ireland, there are four specifications grades to choose from with the entry-level Arona S starting at €17,995. Engine options on S models are limited to a 95hp 1.0-litre petrol linked to a five-speed manual gearbox or a 95hp 1.6-litre diesel costing €20,295 with a five-speed manual transmission.

SE models start at €20,715 for a 115hp 1.0-litre petrol engine with six-speed manual gearbox or €22,115 if you opt for the dual-clutch seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The 95hp 1.6-litre TDI is priced from €22,295 in SE trim.

Xcellence models start at €22,815 for the 115hp 1.0-litre petrol unit mated to the six-speed manual gearbox or €24,215 if paired with the DSG.

There is also a sporty FR model which includes optional dual-mode suspension, and the SEAT Drive Profile with four modes: Normal, Sport, Eco and Individual. It is priced from €22,815 for the 115hp 1.0-litre TSI with six-speed manual or €24,215 for the DSG version and €24,015 for the 150hp 1.5-litre TSI with six-speed manual gearbox.

Depending on trim, the Arona features plenty of safety and driving assist systems like Front Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Hill Hold control, Fatigue Detection, Rain and Headlight Sensors, Multi-Collision Brake, Rear Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection and a Park Assistance System, which works for both parallel and angle parking.

There is also a Keyless Entry and Start System, a rear camera, eight-inch black panel touchscreen, wireless charger with GSM signal amplifier and an optional BeatsAudio with six premium speakers, a 300W 8-channel amplifier and a subwoofer in the boot.

In terms of connectivity, the SEAT Arona is set up for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.

To celebrate the launch of the Arona, during SEAT’s 181 campaign (which runs until 31 December) PCP finance is available at 2.9 per cent and there is a scrappage offer of €1,000 and a three-year service plan is available for €199.
