SEAT IS CHOOSING this week’s National Ploughing Championships to showcase its first ever SUV model – inviting attendees to view the car in the metal and experience its features first-hand.
Some of those features include wireless device charging, a new keyless entry start system called KESSY, an eight-inch colour touchscreen media system and driver assistance systems including Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist.
Speaking about the event, Neil Dalton, Head of Marketing & Product at SEAT Ireland commented:
We are really excited to showcase the all new SEAT Ateca at this year’s National Ploughing Championships. The SEAT Ateca is a model we believe motorists across Ireland will instantly fall in love with.
The Ateca comes with a choice of four engines: a 115hp 1.0-litre TSI petrol, a 150hp 1.4-litre TSI petrol, a 115hp 1.6-litre TDI diesel and a 190hp 2.0-litre TDI diesel. It is offered in three trim levels – S, SE and XCELLENCE.
The SEAT Ateca starts at €24,750 for the 115hp 1.0-litre TSI model and the 1.6-litre diesel model is priced from €26,450.
With its competitive pricing, SEAT is hoping to steal sales away from the Hyundai Tucson and Nissan Qashqai.
