Post-mortem results on Wexford skeletal remains to determine course of investigation

The discovery was made shortly after 11.30am at Ballyandrew near Ferns.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS been launched following the discovery of skeletal remains in Co Wexford. 

The discovery was made shortly after 11.30am at Ballyandrew near Ferns. 

The scene has been preserved and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified. 

The case is being investigated by gardaí in Enniscorthy. 

A garda spokesman said: “The body remains at the scene. The Garda Technical Bureau will attend the scene in the morning and a post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out tomorrow.

“No further information is available at this time.”
