THE CREATORS OF satirical cartoon South Park have taken aim at Donald Trump, with their latest episode ending in his bloody murder.
In the episode, aired in the US on Wednesday, Trump’s stance on immigration is lampooned, even as he becomes the leader of Canada.
His election came, as one Canadian character points out, because people thought it was funny.
“Nobody really thought he’d ever be president. It was a joke! But we just let the joke go on for too long.
He kept gaining momentum, and by the time we were ready to say “OK, let’s get serious now, who should really be president?” he was already being sworn into office.
“We weren’t paying attention.”
Trump’s election prompts a mass exodus of Canadians, who soon have South Park over-run.
That angers Mr Garrison, who runs for US President based on a platform of stemming the tide of immigrants by building a “big wall”.
He then goes to Canada, finding Trump had built the wall first. Eventually finding Trump’s penthouse, he confronts the billionaire. The two then wrestle and Mr Garrison then rapes Trump to death before the episode ends.
The method of the death drew a mixed reaction on Twitter.
